Over the past 10 years, really over their entire lives, God has been preparing Tim and Lori Ford for a unique ministry among refugees. They first had their hearts broken for refugees while living in Vienna during the mass Syrian migration in 2015. They moved back to North Texas 6 years ago and have been ministering to refugees primarily through teaching ESL classes.Moving forward Tim and Lori will be working among refugees both in Vienna and in Dallas. This came about when the team they were with in Vienna floated the idea to them to take several trips there per year to help minister to the refugee population. In both Vienna and Dallas we will come alongside various refugee ministries as volunteers proclaiming the love of Christ in words and in deeds. We will also work in our churches in both locations to shine a light on the plight of these refugees.
